Positive Solutions |
Positive Solutions was founded on three principles: Peer Mediation, Conflict Resolution and Accountability and we are dedicated to stopping the current epidemic of community violence in New Orleans youth by creating coaching and mentoring programs that will empower at-risk youth to make informed and responsible decisions. Positive Solutions seeks to provide safe and productive alternatives to at-risk youth, during the summer months, when the school year has ended. Weekly summer “safe play days” will be offered at area parks where children will have access to games, playgrounds, sports equipment and healthy snacks. There may also be opportunities for some youth to travel out of the New Orleans area to amusement parks, historic sites and colleges/universities. |
